Halloween is one of my favorite holidays because I love seeing the creative costumes people concoct year after year. I have never been a fan of skulls though–they creep me out. However, these pumpkin pancakes are anything but creepy. It doesn’t hurt that they smile too. They look delicious and perfect for a lazy fall morning.
Classic pencils combined with chic simplicity in my current favorite color combination: pink, white, and gray. The quote,”Paris is always a good idea,” never gets old:) J’adore Paris! I need a set (or two) for my office.
I am amazed that Regine Ramseier transported these dandelions and then hung them perfectly intact. If you’re like me and can’t help but sneeze, this may not be the best project to try:) So dreamy and magical!
The weather has been a little cooler and feeling more like boot season. With that, I have been wearing more sweaters and scarves. My favorite way to stay warm is to pair pretty tights with dresses. What do you think about these tights from Alice and Olivia?
Growing up, I was obsessed with blue and used to disdain pink, avoiding the color as if it would permanently stain my skin pink. In the last couple of years, I have started to embrace pink hues, even decorating with rosy colors.
The chairs soften the dark chalkboard wall.
Dreamy pink ceiling.
Ombré wall. Enough said.
Coral cabinets. Who knew they would look so divine.
Or just a hint.
Pink + blue, a perfect union:)

With two cats and a dog, it is hard to keep carpet clean. Our kitties, in particular, love to destroy the carpet with their claws. Last week, we finally removed the carpet and replaced it with new wood flooring, courtesy of my dad. Above is a sneak peek of our progress. Yes, I finally have the ubiquitous “For Like Ever” poster that’s been circulating the blogosphere. It will complement my coral accent wall in my office:)
In the meantime, to protect our new wood from doggie claws, we are on the hunt for relatively inexpensive area rugs that will work with dark wood floors, light gray walls, and modern decor. What do you think of these rugs from West Elm?
Irby Pace is the genius behind these clouds of color. I especially love the sunset piece; it looks like blue wings.
